1. ONE TO GO: Once on the track under pace laps,
watch the flagman, he will give the "1 to go
signal." The one to go signal means you should
be ready for the green flag to be thrown on your
next time around in the starting block. This is
your chance to tighten up the field and be prepared
for the green flag to be thrown.
2. GREEN FLAG RACING STARTS when the Flagman
drops the green flag THE POLE SITTER MUST KEEP A SLOW CONSTANT SPEED UNTIL THAY HIT THE LINE IN TURN 4 THEN GO
& NOT BEFORE. The Flagman may or may not drop
the green flag after every "1 to go signal" has been
shown. If the flagman sees any reason not to throw
the green flag, the field will be given another "1 to
go signal." (It is in your best
interest to wait until you see the green flag waving
before you push the throttle.) There will be 2
attempts at double file starts then the field will be
moved to single file starts. Once field has completed
their first lap, all restarts will be single file restarts.the
2 spin out rule will NOT be in place till affter the first lap or
4 attempts are made.
3. RED FLAG: All drivers come to immediate stop on
the track. (No working on Karts allowed during this
time.)
4. CAUTION FLAG: If caution comes out do not race
back to the start/finish line. Once caution is out,
everyone should come to a slow pace and watch for
track officials to put you in your position for the
restart.
2 SPIN OUT RULE If there is a caution on the track
ONE or ALL KARTS INVOLVED will go to the rear! If you
cause the caution, you will be charged with that
caution flag. (Once you have two caution charges
on you, you will be removed black flagged for that
event. NOTE: If you purposely spin someone out
you will be black flagged. Decision will be made by
flagman.
5. BLUE FLAG: The blue flag is thrown to let drivers
know that the leaders are coming up behind them.
This flag is known as the MOVE OVER flag. If you
are holding up the leaders and you do not move over
when this flag is thrown or if you
are to slow you may be thrown a black
flag. There will not be any blocking of the lead karts
allowed.
6. BLACK FLAG: This flag is thrown to let you know
that you have been DQ'D from the event. If you
recieve this flag at any time, you should immediately
exit the track by either pulling to the center or the
exit lane on the back stretch. If you exit the back
stretch please hold up your arm to let others know
you are exiting.
7. WHITE FLAG: is otherwise known as the last lap
flag. If the white flag waves and a caution comes
out, the race is deemed official with the ones
involved in the caution to be placed at the end
of the finishing order. If at any point on the last
lap you are considered rough driving and recieve
the black flag, you will be asked not to return to this
track for a specified time. (We do not want to have
to use this rule, we want everyone to be able to
attend all races, however this rule will be used if
need be.)
8. CHECKERED FLAG: Once the checkered flag is
thrown, the race is over and the Top 3 karts to finish
the feature MUST immediately proceed to tech with
the kart as raced after leaving the scales even if you
are running another class. Anyone finishing farther
back than 3rd place can leave the tech area at your
discretion. You MUST check in with the Tech
Officials as soon as this race is finished and must
have Tech permission before you can go on to your
next feature race.
Under no circumstances, will the top 3 karts be
allowed to leave tech and go back to the pits.
If one of these karts is entered in another race,
they must proceed straight from tech area to the
starting grid of their next race. You may change
tires, prep, tire pressure ONLY if, and only if there
is enough time deemed possible to do so. This
must be done in Tech area, and both sets of tires
must remain in tech area. NO FUEL MAY BE ADDED
(to prevent possible lowering of fuel additives.)
Anyone refusing to be teched will automatically be
DQ'D! This applies to ALL CLASSES!!! If a kart in the
top 3 finishing positions fails tech, their place will
be given to the next legal kart in the finishing order
(Only if that kart is also still remaining in the tech
area.)
9. SCALING: When you proceed off of track after
checkered flag has been thrown you must, shut motor
off prior to pulling onto scales, and wait for scale
man to give you the ok to proceed. No driving
allowed beyond scales. All karts are required
to cross the scales after every event except a
practice session. If you are lite on weight in
your heat session you will forfeit your spot and be
moved to the rear of the field. If you are lite during
your race session you will be DQ'D. If for any reason
you do not cross scales after a heat or race, you will
be penalized as if you were lite.
